Puppy Kindergarten $150.00 6 weeks (NOW) Level 1
for pups 10 weeks to 20 weeks and we will specialize in socialization skills as well as some training of commands. Your pup will be introduced to new tactile sensations such as different kinds of footing, new noises, new toys, new dogs and new people. You will learn how to introduce your new pup to all the scary things in his world as well as teach him some basic commands. You can move up to a new level as needed. Each set will be 6 weeks but you can start anytime up until the 3rd week - classes start every 4 to 6 weeks.
Level 1 Puppy class will consist of:
Handling exercises (examining the pup)

Training new behaviors (Sit, Down, come, touch, puppy pushups, stand, walk on lead, wait etc),

Playtime with size and age appropriate pups, limited to 2 or 3 at a time together.

Learning about new surfaces,

People socialization skills, and
-
Learn to be quiet.

Work on no jumping, bite inhibition (no biting or mouthing),
Fun Socialization and weekly handouts are part of the class!
Clicker basics are also taught. Free Clicker!
No aggressive dogs allowed in class.
Vaccines are required !!!
Most classes will be 6 - 8 pups.
Bring proof of payment to first class if you paid online, also proof of vaccines.
Puppy Level 2 - $150.00 6 weeks
This is Phase 2 of the puppy class. Your pup needs to be between 14 and 24 weeks old. Each class will be ongoing with a 6 week cycle. You move to level 2 when you are ready as long as your pup is not over the age limit. Tuition covers 6 classes to be used in 8 weeks. These classes stress lots of socialization while teaching beginning commands. Each level you move up will cover more training.

· no jumping,
· no biting,
work on bark control.
We will also talk about Health issues, grooming tips, and behavior issues are discussed in class.

This class is trainer appoval only or must take class Level1!

Manners Level 1 $150.00
New format... you may start this class up to week 3 of class...new class starts every 6 to 8 weeks.
All classes will focus on the skills in each level. Tuition covers 6 classes to be used in 8 weeks.
Level 1 will be the very basic skills and learn to work around other dogs,
He will learn and respond to his name and pay attention when he hears it,

Stay with me (manners on leash while handler is stationary

No- Pull leash manners when walking

Learn to greet people and dogs with no jumping
- We will also teach you (the human) about body handling and health issues and what a clicker is and how to use it.
When you have mastered those you can move on to the other levels and learn "off or leave it, Go to your mat or bed, Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, and continue to practice level one (in level 2), then on to the next level to learn heeling, solid stays, Stand for exam or grooming, Greeting politely, and beginning obedience style moves (these are cool and add pizzazz - fun to show off to relatives and friends!)
After that you can move on to any of our other classes such as Rally, Agility, Nose Work, Tricks, Fetch class or competition if you so desire.
Manners Level 2 - $150.00
Level two will concentrate on the Basic skills your dog needs to become a great companion.
In level 2 we will continue to work on learned behaviors from other classes and also teach the dog to:
· Come from a distance,
· Off or Leave it,
· Sit - Stay (more distractions),
· Down-Stay with more distractions,
· On your Mat or Bed,
· Touch with paw or nose,
· more no-pull leash practice and greeting politely.
