Out of control puppy? Older dog need manners? Have you adopted a new "best friend" and want to have him/her be an indoor dog? We can Help! Loads of experience and happy clients and dogs love coming to class. Classes or Private training available. Check our Calendar on the Dog Training Page for upcoming classes or click on any link that says schedule.
Can we go for a walk? Please?
Is this your puppy? Is he looking for someone to untangle the confusing web of leash vs. feet?
"Sit, what is that? Is that when I jump up and put my feet on you and then fall on my rump? Oh, you mean when I plop on the floor and fall on my side and you laugh ‘because it is so cute? "
Or is he the one who just chewed one of your favorite shoes and then ran outside, dug a hole in your flower garden and buried it? Hmmm, does this sound familiar?
Don’t feel bad because that is what we are here for. Our job is to help you train or re-train you and your dog into a comfortable working friendly relationship.

Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT)
To ensure a level of knowledge and expertise, the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers has established training standards. To be certified, trainers must have at least 300 hours of dog training experience and have passed an exam that assesses basic knowledge of canine training. The test ensures appropriate levels of knowledge in critical areas of canine training. The exam covers instruction skills, animal husbandry, ethology, learning theory and training equipment. The Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers (www.ccpdt.org) is an independent organization from the APDT. While the APDT does not endorse specific trainers, we endorse the concept of voluntary, periodic certification by examination for pet dog trainers.
Trainers with "CPDT" after their names have earned the Certified Pet Dog Trainer designation. Do not be fooled by other certification programs, while there are some good ones, some require virtually no hands on experience, research your trainer carefully and be sure to ask for proof of how long they have been professionally training.
